Ghost Whisperer : Season 2 Episode 7 – A Vicious Cycle

This episode’s ghost is of a woman who died in a snowstorm 20 years ago after her car slid off the road and into the woods. The ghost wants to find her baby girl who was with her on the night of the accident.
Screencaps + Summary:
Melinda and Jim went on a camping trip but was interrupted by the ghost of a woman looking for her daughter.
The ghost leaves this doll to Melinda. *Dolls can be creepy, don’t you think? Stuffed toys are cuter.*
Melinda visits the ghost’s husband but the husband tells her that their daughter is alive and was not in the car the night of the accident. He also tells her that his wife abandoned them.
The ghost gets impatient. (Hi-tech na rin mga ghosts ngayon.
)
Melinda visits Lanie, the ghost’s daughter who is now all grown up and is about to get married.
Something about Lanie’s fiance makes the ghost furious and attack him.
The man who came to the rescue that night of the accident tells a different story though. He says that the ghost’s daughter was with her that night and that the ghost died trying to protect her little girl. He said that she used the warmth of her own body to keep her daughter warm.
The ghost later remembers that she was abused by her husband, the reason why she took her daughter and ran away the night of the accident. She also tells Melinda that Lanie’s fiance reminds her of her husband. The way her husband would shower her with gifts and flowers after a fight. That is what triggered her to attack him.
The ghost was right. Her daughter, just like her, was also being abused.
Melinda asks the help of Lanie’s father who later tells Lanie the truth about everything that happened before. He tells her that her mother never really abandoned them and that he lied about it because he was ashamed.
Lanie leaves her fiance and visits Melinda to talk to her mother’s ghost. She wanted to thank her for saving her. The ghost finally finds her peace and crosses over.
The last scene shows a fly (or a small bee?) and some drops of blood coming from I don’t know where. I think this is connected to one of the past episodes, wherein we were shown a hand that was dripping with blood but we don’t know anything else about that yet. This is something to be looking forward for in the next episodes to come.
