We were there and we finally got to experience it!

Koolitz and I were at the 11th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta at Clark, Pampanga last Saturday, Feb. 10. We didn’t get any sleep on Friday night because we stayed at the office until our departure time of 3AM. Our travel and mini-adventure at the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta was spent with 8 of our officemates who are all photo hobbyists.

We arrived at the site at around 5:30AM just in time for the take-off of the hot air balloons. I was in awe while watching those balloons go up in the air. It was a beautiful sight because of the bright colors and different designs of the balloons. I’m sure many people would have wanted to experience a once-in-a-lifetime hot air balloon ride (including me), but it costs $150 for a ride so…I was content in just watching the balloons instead. ![]()

After the hot air balloons took off, we followed Anton’s group and had breakfast at the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Post 2485 Canteen.
