Everything Nice Cake Shop and Cafe – Camp John Hay, Baguio City
by Birks on March 09, 2007 in Food Trip, Photoblog, Travel
Everything Nice. Yes, that is the name of a quaint little Cake Shop and Cafe located at the Mile Hi Center inside Camp John Hay, Baguio City. Their specialty includes desserts and pastries but we were there for lunch so we ordered more than just dessert. ![]()
The waitress said many people usually order their Chicken Cordon Bleu. So I ordered that along with a plate of yummy Potato Wedges.

Kuppa Coffee & Tea – Bacolod City
by Birks on January 23, 2007 in Food Trip, Photoblog

Kuppa is a cafe and restaurant near St. John’s Institute, corner Tindalo-Hilado St., Capitol Shopping Center, Bacolod City. I like that place. I’ve been there 3 times so far and I visit it everytime I go back to Bacolod for a vacation. I particularly like their pizza and pasta. Place and ambience is ok, too. The service needs a bit of improvement though as sometimes it’s difficult to call the attention of a waiter because most of them are just staying in one place. But overall, it’s a nice place to go to when you’re in Bacolod.

Calea: Cakes, Pastries and Coffee – Bacolod City
by Birks on January 21, 2007 in Food Trip, Photoblog

Calea offers some of the best cakes and can only be found in Bacolod City. I remember back then, they only used to have one small shop with a few tables and chairs but they later on grew in popularity gaining more and more customers. They now have three branches in Bacolod and last December, Koolitz and I along with his sister went to the Villa Angela East Block branch for some afternoon snack. We ordered some sandwiches and coffee and then of course, we had to have some of their mouth-watering cakes.
