A recently released sex offender is accused of kidnapping a child, and with time running out, Det. Gabriel beats a confession out of him. Deputy Chief Johnson must deal with Gabriel and also get the pedophile to re-confess.
When one of the officers mentioned that they are going to get in touch with FBI’s BAU (Behavioral Analysis Unit) for help, I was thinking this crazy idea that Agent Gideon of Criminal Minds will pop up on the scene!
“You see, everyone pretends kids don’t want to have sex. But they do.” - huhmmm what do you think guys?

Saving Face - The Closer Season 3 Episode 3

The funeral of an former police colleague of Flynn and Provenza takes an unexpected turn when the casket is dropped, revealing not only their friend’s body, but that of a nude, blonde woman, about whom Flynn and Provenza might know more than they realize. As Brenda investigates, she must also tangle with an irate bride who believes Brenda ruined her wedding.
Brenda and Fritz’ efforts to find a house gain momentum.

The Closer Season 3: Premiere Episode - Homewrecker

In the third-season opener, Brenda and the team investigate the grisly slaying of a family, and the only survivor is the drug-addled teen son. Meanwhile, a financial crisis rocks the LAPD, bringing about budget cuts, numerous changes — and possibly Provenza’s early retirement. And Fritz hopes to move into a new house with Brenda.

This is my first time watching The Closer and it is my first encounter with Deputy Police Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson of LAPD, played by Kyra Sedgwick, in their premiere episode of season 3. This episode reminds me of what is happening in our local police - Philippine National Police (PNP). Criminal investigation in a third world country like ours is very slow. Sometimes it takes years for a single crime to be resolved - so sad.
Anyway, I would like to share some clips later of how Chief Johnson interrogates her suspect in this episode.
