Threadless T-Shirts Summer Vacation Sale!

I’ve been surfing the Threadless website for a while now. They’ve got nice shirt designs and I’ve been wanting to buy one. I still don’t know about the quality of their shirts as I’ve never bought any of their shirts yet. They’ve been quite popular though. If you haven’t heard of Threadless, check out their site now!
The reason I’ve been hesitant to buy (though I’ve been eyeing a couple of designs already) is because it’s a bit pricey especially if you are not from the US. Of course, shipping fees are higher for international orders. I’m glad they do ship internationally though. And guess what, all their shirts are currently on sale! Most of the shirts are at $10 and up until June 3. So bring out those credit cards and buy your shirts now!

Please Help Save Man’s Best Friend from the Dog Meat Trade

Dog meat eating has existed as a long-standing cultural phenomenon in the Northern provinces of the Philippines. Historically, this ritual practice accounted for a relatively small number of animals. However, over the past 25 years, dog meat eating has rapidly proliferated for commercial rather than cultural reasons. Today, despite a national law banning dog meat eating, a multitude of restaurants exist exclusively to sell dog meat, and current estimates indicate up to half a million dogs are slaughtered and consumed commercially every year in the Philippines. Lack of enforcement and minimal penalties for convicted dog meat traders allow this cruel industry to thrive.
Call on the government of the Philippines to institute stronger laws and enforcement so that this cruel and illegal practice can be eliminated once and for all.

Yahoo! Mail to Offer Unlimited Free Email Storage!

This is good news to me since I am now using Yahoo! Mail as my primary email. 
As Yahoo! Mail approaches its 10-year anniversary, they will begin offering everyone unlimited email storage starting in May 2007. Yahoo Mail starting with a humble 2MB storage space, later increased to 1GB, now plans infinite unlimited free storage for the future.
