Birks saw KC last night on TV singing different version of Umbrella and she told me that she likes the lyrics of the song for the first time! I like the beat of the song but I never mind the lyrics not until I did some google and I found this video on Youtube. Alejandro Manzano did a good job here. I like his version more than Rihanna’s.
This song was originally made for Britney Spears…Geez, I can’t imagine!

Here are 3 clip taken from the forthcoming Heroes Season 1 DVD. One is a deleted scene with Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg), the next one shows the making of the show’s special effects, and a third explores the show’s “global phenomenon”. The Heroes Season 1 DVD is set to be released on August 28, 2007.

24 Day 7 will have a female President!

There are news that 24 season 7 will have a female President. It sounds interesting to me because as far as I know only in 24 that I have seen a black president and now a lady president! Is this some kind of mind-conditioning that, in reality, maybe the next president will be Hilary Clinton? Most probably this is a new character. It will be more interesting if this would be a black female president.

The Closer Season 3: Premiere Episode - Homewrecker

In the third-season opener, Brenda and the team investigate the grisly slaying of a family, and the only survivor is the drug-addled teen son. Meanwhile, a financial crisis rocks the LAPD, bringing about budget cuts, numerous changes — and possibly Provenza’s early retirement. And Fritz hopes to move into a new house with Brenda.

This is my first time watching The Closer and it is my first encounter with Deputy Police Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson of LAPD, played by Kyra Sedgwick, in their premiere episode of season 3. This episode reminds me of what is happening in our local police - Philippine National Police (PNP). Criminal investigation in a third world country like ours is very slow. Sometimes it takes years for a single crime to be resolved - so sad.
Anyway, I would like to share some clips later of how Chief Johnson interrogates her suspect in this episode.
